One month old already!

Carson went in for his one-month well-baby visit today. He weighed in at 9 pounds, 7 ounces and was 21.5 inches long, so he has grown quite a bit. Dr. Akrawi said he's a normal baby and had no concerns over our concerns. That is good, but we still can't help but wonder how its normal to cry the way Carson cries when he poops. I wish he'd have had to go while we were at the doctor's office so they could witness it, but oh well. Maybe he is just scared of the feeling. We'll see how it goes. Dr. Akrawi thinks he'll just out grow it here soon probably. We hope so!

Tonight Carson got to meet many new faces in the Odykirk family. We went to dinner at the Olive Garden with many of the Odykirk women - Great Grandma Moore, Great-Great Aunt Roberta, Great-Great Aunt Beth, Great-Great Aunt Jackie, cousins Rhonda B., Rhonda A., Emilee, Jennifer, Cathy, Becky, Aunt Lindsay, Grandma and Grandpa Moore, mom, dad, and Carson. It was a good time - we should do that more often!

Carson stayed with his first babysitters this week while Sara went to Lansing with Jaime to look at bridesmaid dresses for Jaime's wedding in August. Great Aunt Jeri and Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Burge came over to watch Carson for a few hours. It was easier on Sara than she thought it might be and probably served as some good preparation for her return to work in a couple of weeks.
