Cold weather

I can't believe this weather. It was so cold this morning. We were getting very used to the beautiful weather we've been having. It'll return soon, though, so that is good.

Carson is changing every day now, it seems, and getting to be more and more fun. He'll carry on "conversations" with you now for quite a long time. It is so cute. I really need to get it on video one of these days. He is such a smiley little guy, too. He will just grin and laugh so much. He still loves to lie in his crib and watch his mobile, he is just fascinated by it still. He also loves his playmat, stretching and kicking. He tries so hard to bat at the hanging toys and gets them every so often, but they're still kind of high for him most of the time. He is also really enjoying being in his bouncy seats, both his Itsy Bitsy Spider one at our house and the Rainforest one at Grandma Moore's house. He just grins and babbles the entire time he's in his seat. He especially loves the Rainforest bouncy at Grandma's house because he can reach the hanging bird and loves to make it spin around. It is so cute to watch him as he is concentrating so hard on making the bird spin around. We also got a Bumbo seat last week that he seems to like.

Its looking like Carson is going to get his Dad's hazel eyes. They're a dark hazel right now and they've been that way now for a few weeks. He's also losing more of his dark hair by the day. It is starting to come in blonde by the looks of it. Pretty soon lots more people will think he's looking more like Kevin with the blonde hair and hazel eyes. I think he's going to keep my nose, cheeks, mouth, and shape of the head, though.

Here are some pictures of Carson enjoying his toys. You can see in the pics in his bouncy seat that he's drooling now. He just started doing that these last couple of weeks. He's also chewing on his hands and fingers quite a bit. It looks like teething may not be too far off now.

Just after a bath one night before bed. Carson is losing his hair, so there's not much left to get into a mohawk... this is about the best he can do right now. Someday he'll have a good one. :)
