Mueller's Orchard

A couple weeks back, on Sunday, October 17th, we decided to take an afternoon drive to check out the fall colors and make a stop at an orchard or cider mill. We decided we'd like to go to Parshallville Historic Cider Mill because it has been many, many years since either Kevin or Sara had been there and Carson has never been. So we headed that way. It was such a beautiful fall day, everyone else seemed to have the same idea! We arrived in Parshallville to see people lined up all over the place just to get into the cider mill... we decided we weren't going to wait in that line. :) So we headed towards Spicers Orchard a few miles away. Spicers was even worse! So we decided to head over to Mueller's Orchard in Linden. On our way there, we passed by Uncle Jason, Aunt Julie and the kids heading the other way. We called them and turns out they had the same ideas we had and were headed to Parshallville. Once they heard how crazy it was, they decided to turn around and meet us at Mueller's, too.

Mueller's is kind of off the beaten path and I think a lot of people forget it's there, so it's rarely crazy-busy. They have a good selection of apples at great prices, the best fresh donuts out of all the orchards, and very tasty cider and caramel apples. Plus, they have a really nice playground, petting farm, hay rides, and ponies to ride. And you don't have to deal with the crowds! We ended up spending a couple of hours there and had a great time! We ran into our friends Jennifer and Evan, so it was fun to catch up with them, as well! Carson, Anna, Joel, and Jonah all had a great time playing on the playground and we got some super cute pictures. It was a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon!
