Christmas with the Holleboom Family

We had our last Christmas celebration today with the Holleboom family.  We all met up over at Grandpa's and Grandma's house and had a great time.  The kids all had a lot of fun playing together and got pretty wild at times, but all-in-all they had a blast!  Carson loves playing with his cousins so much!  He adores them all!  It is so fun to see him interact with each and every one of them.  We are so thankful that he has such awesome cousins and we really value our cousin-time.  Kevin and Sara both have such great memories of their cousins growing up and we are so happy that Carson will have some fantastic memories of his own. 

We opened a ton of gifts today!  As always, everyone was more than generous!  We all got some awesome presents!  Kevin got a really nice Carhartt coat and a PS3 remote.  Sara got a dutch oven for camping, a beautiful necklace, earrings, and brooch, a really pretty ornament, and some much needed glass bread pans.  Carson got a Playmobil house, Legos, a sleeping bag, camping lantern, binoculars, flashlight, a couple Berenstain Bears books, a Brother Bear tote, a super cute outfit, a wooden train, Candyland, a Calvin basketball jersey, and I'm sure I'm missing some things... he got so much stuff!  We are so thankful to have such a loving, giving family!  Thank you all so much!!  We are very excited to play with all the awesome gifts this week!

Carson rigged up a Limbo bar with a roll of wrapping paper right before we left tonight.  According to Grandma, he does that quite often.  He'll walk under it singing "limbo, limbo, limbo, yeah!"  Not sure where he learned to limbo, but he and Rebecca had fun doing it!
