End of February Family Day

Ok, I'm officially more than a month behind on this blog.  Oops.  Well, here's another catch up post.  Maybe I'll actually have some time to bring this blog up to speed this week (or soon).  I guess we shall see.  :)

We took another trip west to visit family on February 26th.  Kevin's cousin Brad and his family were in town for a quick visit.  They live in Rochester, New York, so we don't get to see them often.  The last time we saw them, Carson was four and a half months old.  So it has been a long time and it was great to see Brad, Melissa, Riley, Naomi, and Elijah.  This was our first time meeting Elijah!

We all met up over at Great Grandpa and Great Grandma's farm.  We got to visit with Kevin's cousin Michelle and her family for a bit, too.  Grandpa and Grandma Holleboom, Uncle Danny, Aunt Mary, Uncle Justin, and Rebecca were all there, as well.

The kids all had a lot of fun playing together.  Carson took a short time to warm up, but once he did, he had a lot of fun.  The kids played with the building blocks, put puzzles together, and playe with all the other toys that Great Grandma keeps at the farm for the great grandkids.  Then they all had fun bouncing around the living room together.

It was great to get a little visiting and play time in with some of the Van Heukelum family.  Carson had a lot of fun playing with his cousins.  We wish Brad and Melissa lived a little closer so that Carson could play with Riley, Naomi, and Elijah more often!

After our visit at the farm, we went over to Aunt Mary's and Uncle Justin's house for dinner and more play time with Rebecca.  Carson and Rebecca have been having a blast together this winter.  This was the sixth time in two months that they got to play - I think that is a new record!  They are at such a fun age and are like two peas in a pod.  They are SO fun to watch!

Rebecca can't wait to see Carson again! It seems like it's been so long now. Hopefully Carson won't mind being a princess for a day ;)

I know, it does seem like its been a long time! Carson is not allowed to be a princess, sorry. He can be a prince, but not a princess. :)
