Saturday Fun with Friends!

This morning we met up with our friends, Lina, Sean, and Vayla at the Flint Children's Museum (FCM). Both our families have memberships to Impression 5 in Lansing and with our memberships, we get into other children's museums and science centers around the state (and country!) for free. So we're trying to do one museum every month to meet up at and let the kids play. We all had so much fun! Vayla and Carson had a blast checking out all the exhibits. I think their favorites were the music room, the grocery store, and for Carson the pizza parlor... that was totally right up his alley with his love of "pizza pie!" Carson loved getting the pizza out of the oven and taking it over to the table to serve and eat. He'd chatter the entire time, talking about the "pizza pie cooking," "pizza pie burning," "wash my hands" at the sink, "pizza pie in the oven," and so on. Vayla loved playing cashier at the checkout while Carson shopped. It was so cute to see them play. We were impressed with how nice the FCM is and it was so nice that its geared towards younger kids. We'll definitely be taking Carson up there to play quite a bit this winter - you certainly can't beat a super fun and free (for us) place!!

After the museum, we spent some time playing on the playground across the street while we waited for a locksmith to come rescue some keys locked in the car. The weather today is absolutely gorgeous and its such a perfect day to play outside! After the playground, we headed to lunch at Badawest, a fabulous local Lebanese restaurant - so yummy! Then we headed home to nap and work/play outside for the rest of the day!

Be sure to check out the rest of our pictures in the Shutterfly albums!
