Last week, we went to our last Silver Lake Ski Club ski show of the summer. We met up with Aunt Julie, Anna, Joel, and Jonah at the show and had a great time. The show was awesome! The team was super pumped to have placed so well at Nationals the weekend prior. They came in 4th overall! And they took many other high honors, as well - top barefooter, MVP female skier, and top overall show. On the way home from Nationals (in Wisconsin), they made a stop in St. Ignace to drop in the boat and had something like 18 skiers ski across the Straits of Mackinac for 7 miles... under that Mackinac Bridge, from the Upper Peninsula to the Lower Peninsula. How cool is that?!
They put on a fantastic, high-energy show. It was a great one to see, for sure. They even got the air-chair out...
After the show, we all went over to the playground to have some fun. We took lots of fun pictures of the kids playing and having a ball! What a perfect night!
