On Sunday, we went over to Aunt Jeri's house to celebrate our cousin Haleigh's birthday. Haleigh lives in Virginia with Sara's cousin, Megan, and her husband, Marty, so we don't get to see them very often. Usually only twice a year - once in August and again at Thanksgiving. So we haven't seen Haleigh in quite a while - and she sure has grown! She was just a baby, just taking her first few steps, the last time we saw her. Now she is a happy-go-lucky, beautiful toddler! Haleigh's birthday is actually in January, but since they live so far away, the family doesn't get to celebrate with her. So my aunt decided to throw her a birthday party. So fun!
We spent most of the day just visiting and playing, with some time out on the lake worked in there, too. :) Carson had so much fun with Haleigh and Mackenzey! They are all at great ages (Haleigh is 1.5, Mackenzey is 2.5, Carson is 3.5) and interact so well together. And they're all so full of energy and laughter!
Making engine noises while he rides the trike.... :)
It was such a fun day! We were sad to see it end. Carson, especially. But we look forward to seeing Megan, Marty, and Haleigh again in just a few months when they are home for Thanksgiving!
